Welcome to An Tuirin – your peaceful retreat on the beautiful Irish coast.

We’re Sinéad and Dave, your hosts, and we’re passionate about creating a relaxed, welcoming space where guests can feel right at home.

Sinéad brings a strong background in hospitality, having started her career coordinating conferences and banquets in hotels. She's currently the Manager at the Oysterhaven Activity Centre, and until the recent sale of the Oysterhaven Holiday Cottages, she also looked after cottage bookings – giving her years of hands-on experience in managing holiday lets with care and attention to detail.

Dave is a chef by trade and has spent years delighting people with his food, running his own private catering business and more recently working at Ballinacurra House in Kinsale. With that chapter winding down, he’s now embracing his creative side – painting, woodworking, and growing seasonal vegetables in their garden, some of which make their way into your stay at An Tuirin!

Together, we’ve poured our love for hospitality, comfort, and the outdoors into An Tuirin. Whether you’re seeking a romantic escape, a solo sojourn,  peaceful creative haven, or an inspiring place to work remotely, An Tuirin offers a truly special stay by the water — cosy, characterful, and unforgettable.
